Materia Medica for Digestive Disorders Single Herb
Have 1/2 bowl of sprouted Alfalfa seeds in the morning.
Repeat it for 15 days.
Take some flowers. Soak them in a jug of water overnight. Drink it early in the morning.
For Children Only : Take out the pulp of the fruit. Mix it in mustard oil. Heat the oil for a minute. Apply slightly warm oil around the navel.
Take the Dried roots. Powder them. Have a pinch with luke warm water early in the morning.
Or grind the roots with water. Make paste. Apply over the abdomen.
Caper for Stomach Diseases
Extract the juice of the bark. Take one tablespoon twice a day.
Chew some Olives daily.
Cubeb for Stomach Diseases
Make infusion of Cubebs. Take twice or thrice a day.
Or add 5 drops of Cubeb oil on a sugar cube. Eat once a day.
Bloodroot for Stomach Disorder
Take 1 tsp of Bloodroot juice twice a day .
Dodder For Stomach Diseases
Make a paste of Dodder seeds with water. Apply it on the stomach and tie bandage on same part. It is quite useful in Indigestion, Belching, Stomach Ache and Cramps of the stomach.
Prepare a decoction of Bodhi Tree bark. Take it, twice a day.
Add 2 tsp Coriander juice in a glass of Buttermilk. Drink before half an hour of your meal.
Use One tablespoon Figwort with One cup water.
Take One cup a day.
You can add some Honey to improve the taste.
Add 2 g root powder of Cyclea Peltata in a cup of lukewarm water.
Consume 3 g rhizome powder of Galangal before every meal.
Take 2 cloves of Snow Mountain Garlic ( Kashmiri Lehsun ). Crush and boil in one cup of water or milk. Take it once a day.
Prepare a decoction of Cynodon Dactylon ( Doob ). Have 2 teaspoons once a day.
Eat 20 gram Coconut ( Nariyal ) on an empty stomach daily.
Make a tea by Boiling 2 tablespoons dried herb in 2 cups of water.
Drink 2-3 times a day.
Tea should not be too strong.
Take quarter tsp Cinnamon ( Dalchini ) powder with lukewarm water. Have it once a day.
Chew 2 g Cumin seeds after your meal. It helps in proper Digestion.
Dill for Digestive Disorder
Chew 3 g Dill seeds after your every meal.
Add Allspice ( Kabab Chinni ) in your daily food.
Boil the One tablespoon dried root of Common Marshmallow ( Khatami ) in a cup of water for 4-5 minutes. Filter and drink before meals as needed.
Mix half tablespoon Asafoetida ( Hing ) in a glass of water and drink twice a day.
Mix One tablespoon Psyllium Husk ( Isabgol ) in a glass of water and drink before retiring.
Terminalia Chebula ( Harad ) has a good digestive quality. It helps to digest the food and also increases the appetite.
Take half a teaspoon of Terminalia Chebula ( Harad ) powder everyday .
Thyme for Digestive Disorders
Prepare a tea with Thyme leaves by boiling them in a cup of water for 5 to 10 minutes. Strain it off. Drink this warm decoction after a heavy meal. It keeps your digestive system healthy and well maintained.
Chew Areca Nuts 3 times a day after every meals.
Prepare an infusion of Bay leaves. Drink one cup of it, after every meal.
Add two teaspoons of Borututu root powder in one liter of boiling water. Steep it for half an hour. Strain it and consume the tea throughout the day.

Powder 50 g dried leaves of Winged Treebine ( Hadjod in India ) to make powder. Add 25 g powder of each dried ginger ( Adrak in India ) and Black Pepper ( Kali Mirch in India ) in it. Have 3 g twice a day.

Ginger ( Adrak in India ) Dried Powdered 2 tablespoon
