Hello,

I am a Thyroid and diabetic patient. My TSH is high.. Please advise if I can take this foxtail Millet.

Latika Ghosh ( India )

Amala. Foxtail Millets suppress thyroid activity and can lead to goiter. So, it is one of the herbs which interferes with the thyroid function. I will suggest that you should no take any chances with your thyroid health, as your TSh is already high. Also avoid gluten containing food. Occasional millet consumption is okay, once a weak. Do not make it a part of your daily diet.

Sushant .
It is better if you consult your health care provider regarding this matter. The one who knows the entire history of your disease and the drugs that you have been taking will be able to guide you well. Penicillin is one of the causes of Steven Johnson Syndrome. You should also avoid painkillers. Stay Healthy

Dear.
Foxtail millet is good for Diabetic people. However, regular use may cause further trouble in people having thyroid. Millets otherwise reduce the activity of thyroidism. It is good for eye health.
Well, you should consult a dietician, so as to be sure of the diet to be taken being diabetic.
