Berberis Aristata for Infection
Take root powder of Berberis Aristata. Mix it with milk to make a thick paste. Apply and wash it after 15-20 Minutes.
Take a pinch of Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) with hot water. Take once a day. Use it for 5 days.
Caution : Excess use may cause Loose Motions.
Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) for Fever
Take small quantity of Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) . Have it with warm water.
Caution : Do not use it regularly, as it may cause Loose Motions.
Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) for Ulcers
Make an infusion of Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) . Drink once a day.
Caution : Avoid excess use of Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ), As it has laxative effect.
OR : Use decoction of Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) to wash the wounds.
Apply Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) locally on the eyelids.
Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) for Jaundice
Make a decoction of Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) . Add one teaspoon Honey in it. Drink once a day.
Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) for Melasma
Take 2 grams of dried Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ). Soak it in raw milk at night. Next morning, stir and apply in upward direction on your face. Rinse after half an hour with fresh water.
Make a leaf paste of Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) and apply on the affected skin.
Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) for Diarrhea
Grind some Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) and mix with Honey ( Shehad ). Lick it to get relief.
Note : This remedy is very useful to cure Stomach problems in children.
Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) for Piles
Take extract of the roots of Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) with butter twice a day .
Or :
Mix 1 ml of Rasaut with 30 ml water. Use it to wash the affected areas.
Or :
Take a pinch of Rasaut with 1 tsp of Butter once a day.
Or :
Make a root decoction of Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) by boiling 5 gm of dried root in 1/2 Liter water. Take twice a day.
Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) for Polydipsia
Soak 30 grams Berberis Aristata ( Rasont ) in 300 ml of water. Keep it overnight. Next morning eat all the berries and then drink soaked water.

Take 4 gram of both Berberis Aristata ( Kilmora ) and Butter. Add one gram of Camphor in it. Mix well to make paste. Apply on the affected areas. Let it dry and wash with normal water.

Take dried leaves of following herbs in equal quantity :
Berberis Aristata ( Kilmora ) , Jasmine, Liquorice, Chebulic Myrobalan. Grind them to make powder. Again sieve the powder to get fine powder. Take 1 tsp of the powder and add same quantity of Honey. Mix well to make paste. Apply it over mouth ulcers.

Mix half tsp of Indian Gooseberry powder in decoction of Berberis Aristata ( Kilmora ) . Add some Honey and drink.

Take 5 grams each of the bark of Drumstick , Indian Beech, Berberis Aristata ( Kilmora ) and the root of Golden Shower. Grind with some urine of cow. Apply on the affected area.

Cut Aloe Vera in two halves. Sprinkle Turmeric powder and extract of Berberis Aristata ( Kilmora ) on the pulpy side. Bandage it over the swollen area.

Pepare a decoction of Dandelion root, Berberis Aristata ( Kilmora ) root and Chelone Glabra leaves. Take it twice a day.

Take the following herbs :
Berberis Aristata : Dar Hald : Powdered : 1 teaspoon
Snow Lotus : Kuth : Powdered : 1 teaspoon
Turmeric : Haldi : Powdered : half teaspoon
Psoralea : Bkuchi : Powdered : 1/2 teaspoon
Sandalwood : Chandan : 1 teaspoon
Mix all ingredients. Add Rose Water to make paste. Apply it on affected parts for 20 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
