Mumps is a disease of the Salivary Glands.
The viral infection that affects the parotid Salivary glands is Mumps.
Paramyxovirus is an organism that causes Mumps.

Single Herb

Bodhi Tree for Mumps

Take some leaves of Bodhi Tree. Apply a layer of ghee over it. Warm it. Bandage it over the affected areas.

Ginger ( Adrak ) for Mumps

Prepare a powder of dry Ginger. Make a paste of this powder and apply on the affected area.
Grind Terminalia Chebula ( Harad ) to make paste. Apply it over the Mumps.
Peel Aloevera. Warm the peeled side. sprinkle Turmeric over it. Bandage over the affected area.

Bayberry ( Kafal ) for Mumps

Prepare a decoction of the leaves of Bayberry. Gargle with two-three times a day.
Grind the leaves and flowers together and make a paste. Apply as a poultice onto Mumps.

Herbal Treatment For Mumps 1

Make seed paste of Asparagus Racemosus and Fenugreek with water. Apply it, locally on affected areas.

Herbal Treatment For Mumps 2

Cut Aloe Vera in two halves. Sprinkle Turmeric powder and extract of Berberis Aristata ( Kilmora ) on the pulpy side. Bandage it over the swollen area.

Take some leaves of Azadirachta Indica ( Neem ). Add some Turmeric in it. Grind to make paste. Apply topically on the affected areas.

Take Mullien and Lobeila in 3:1 ratio. Prepare a paste. Apply it as a fomentation.

Take one cup of water and add ten drops each of Coriander, Lavender, Niaouli and Tea Tree Essential Oil in it. Mix them well. Spray this blend in the room. Repeat the process as needed.
It will prevent the spread of bacteria.

Take one tablespoon of Coconut Oil ( or any other carrier oil ) and add four drops each of Coriander, Lavender, Lemon and Tea Tree Essential Oil in it. Mix them well. Apply this oil blend to the abdomen area, back of the neck and temples. Repeat the process three times a day for 10 days.
It eases the Pain and Inflammation.
