What water ratio of Butea monosperma
tree?

Jignesh Das
01 Mar 2016
Dear Krupali It is assumed that you are asking about the amount of water to be used to make the paste. Is it right ?
The water should be equal to the amount of the powder of Butea Monosperma. Such that, when you mix it, a thick paste is formed. The paste should be as thick as any cream, which can be applied on the affected area.

You can buy it from your local herbal store. If not, then order it online. There are many e commerce websites that deal with selling of herbs. I don't think Herbpathy deals with selling of herbs.
Or, why don't you check buy/sell herbs portal given on this website.

Hello,
I saw a video wherein it was advised that we should boil 1 cup of water with 1/2 teaspoon kamarkas seeds, raw ginger, betel leaf and mint stalks, for reducing cholesterol and controlling diabetes. The video also claimed that whoever needs bypass surgery or have heart blockage etc will benefit by drinking this herbal decoction for a month. It also aids in weight loss and protects the organs. Can you please verify whether the individual herbs and spices I mentioned to prepare this herbal decoction truly reduce cholesterol, control high blood pressure and diabetes? As I'm a patient of all three and I would like to try this.
Many thanks.
