Materia Medica for Joint Pain Single Herb
Take out the pulp of the fruit. Grind it with some water. Boil it on a low flame. Leave it for two hours. Apply it on the affected parts.
Drink one glass juice of Grapes once a day daily.
Fry some Solanum Xanthocarpum leaves in Sesame oil. Strain. Apply lukewarm on the affected part once a day.
Prepare a tea of Papaya seeds. Drink once a day.
Fry 2 Garlic cloves in Ghee. Eat it once a day.
Massage the painful Joint with warm Vinegar.
Eat Walnut daily in the morning with an empty stomach.
Soak the leaves and twigs of Mistletoe in some water. When the water has been absorbed, press and take out the juice. Massage it onto the skin.
Hemlock as an Analgesic
Make a poultice or ointment by grinding Hemlock leaves. Apply on the affected area.
Wintergreen Essential Oil has good Analgesic property. It gives relief in pain and inflammation.
Soak a small cloth in Wintergreen Oil and then apply on the affected joints to relieve pain.
Note : Pure Oil may cause Irritation.
Sesame ( Til ) Seeds for Joint Pain
Take one teaspoon full Sesame ( Til ) Seeds. Soak in water at night. In the morning, drink the water and eat seeds.
Bark can be directly applied to the joints.
It relieves pain by increasing blood circulation.
Cut a leaf of Aloe Vera ( Gheekumari ). Extract the gel. Massage affected joints with gel for 15 minutes.
Use Caesalpinia Bonduc ( Karanjwa ) seed oil for massage over painful joints.
Fry root paste of Snow Lotus in Mustard oil. Filter and store. Use it for massage over painful Joints.
Mix one tablespoon Cayenne ( Lal Mirch ) in 4 tablespoons of Cocoa butter. Add Coconut ( Nariyal ) oil. Massage with this mixture for 15 minutes twice a day.
Liquorice ( Mulethi ) strengthens the immune system and eases pain.
Take one cup of tea made from Liquorice ( Mulethi ) twice a day.
Flax ( Alsi ) Seeds for Joint Pain
Grind Flax ( Alsi ) Seeds. Include one tablespoon in your daily diet in any form.
Stinging Nettle ( Bichu Buti ) Leaves for Joint Pain
Add 1 cup of Nettle leaves to 2 cups of water. Boil and then keep it on low flame for 15 minutes. Strain it off and consume it warm. This decoction helps in providing relief from the inflammation and swelling. Consume 2 cups of Nettle tea regularly to get the best results.
Crush bark of Ashoka with water to make paste. Apply this paste over painful Joints.
Warm few leaves of Balloon Vine ( Kanphuti ). Apply Castor oil on them. Bandage them over painful joints.
Apply crushed flowers of Balsam Weed over painful Joints.
Crush some fresh berries. Mix few drops of oil and massage onto the painful area.
Massage the aching joints with warm oil of Marking Nut ( Bhilawa ) to reduce pain and swelling.
Massage the affected parts with lukewarm Coconut Oil ( Nariyal ka Tel ). It improves blood circulation.
Drink 2-3 tablespoons of fresh Chenopodium Album ( Bathua ) juice daily before your breakfast.
Roast a handful of dried Fenugreek ( Methi ) seeds. Grind them to make a fine powder. Add some water and apply on the aching joints.
OR : TConsume 1 teaspoon of Fenureek seed powder with warm water. Take it twice a day to reduce Joint pain.
Night Jasmine Essential Oil as an Analgesic
Night Jasmine Essential Oil comprises of good Analgesic effects. That's why Night Jasmine Essential Oil is an effective cure to treat Headaches, Joint Pains, Sciatica, Muscular Pains and Lower Back Pain. Take 2 tablespoons of Mustard Oil. Warm. Add 10 drops of Night Jasmine Essential Oil. Use it for massage the affected area.
Cypress Essential Oil as an Analgesic
Cypress Essential Oil holds the good Analgesic effects. It gives relief in any type of pain. Whether it is associated with muscles or joints.
Mix 10 to 15 drops of Cypress Essential Oil with Mustard Oil or Olive Oil. Slightly warm the mixture. Massage the affected part for 5 to 10 minutes. Cover the area after massaging.
Note : Good to do it at night.
Cinnamon Essential Oil suppresses the joint pain and gives a relaxing effect.
Mix 10 drops of Cinnamon Essential Oil in 50 ml of any pain reliever base oil ( like; Sesame Oil ). Store this mixture in a bottle. Use this mixture for massage the affected joints daily.
Orange Essential Oil possesses strong Analgesic and Antiinflammatory properties. These properties help to reduce the swelling of the tissues and inflammation occurred due to it. It helps to reduce Joint Pain.
Add 3 to 4 drops of Orange Essential Oil in 2 to 3 tablespoons of any Carrier Oil. Mix well. Apply this Oil blend on the affected area. Gently massage for 10 to 15 minutes. Do this twice a day.
Burdock Root For Joint Pain
Take 1 ½ tablespoons of dried Burdock root. You can also take 3 tablespoons of freshly chopped Burdock root. Put them in 4 cups of water in a bowl on the flame. Boil it for 5 minutes. Then, allow it to cool. Steep the decoction for 30 minutes. Strain and drink it warm. For best results, take this tea daily.
Squeeze the juice from fresh Burdock root. Mix one tablespoon of juice with a glass of water. Drink this mixture daily.
Consume tincture of Burdock root. Put 5 drops into a glass full of water. Consume daily.
Boil Burdock root in 200 ml of water. Boil it until the root becomes soft. Wrap this soften Burdock root in a cotton cloth. Apply it topically on the pain area. This may help in reducing Joint pain.
Take 1 to 2 capsules a day with lukewarm milk to lessen the impact of pain in joints.
Soak some flattened rice in water and allow it to get soft. Strain the water once rice gets soft. Now add some Yogurt to it. Mix well and consume it at breakfast.
Peel off a piece of Ginger and cut it into small pieces. Boil these cut pieces in the water for 15 minutes. Strain the water. Now add half teaspoon Honey in the strained water. Stir it well. Drink this Ginger tea twice a day.
Eat a slice of fresh Pineapple ( Ananas ) daily to reduce the joint pain.
Note: Do not consume canned Pineapple ( Ananas ). It carries high sugar level which may adverse the effect.
Drink a cup of Camellia Sinensis ( Chai ) thrice a day to get relief from joint pain.
Add a teaspoon dried leaves of Stinging Nettle into a tub half filled with warm water. Put your inflamed joints in this water to give relief to the joints.
Dip a cotton cloth in Stinging Nettle tea. Apply this cotton cloth on inflamed joints to give relief from pain. Repeat this procedure according to your need.
An ointment of Lemon Essential Oil is beneficial for combating against the inflammation and pain in joints.
Massage your joints with Cedarwood Essential Oil ( Devdar Ka Tel ). It reduces swollen and inflamed joints.
A gentle massage with Eucalyptus Essential Oil ( Safede Ka Tel ) is effective in reducing the pain and inflammation of the joints.
Firmly rub Rosemary Essential Oil onto your joints to alleviate the inflammation and pain of the joints.
Chew fresh leaves for Feverfew daily to reduce the pain in joints.
Prepare Feverfew tea by boiling the whole plant in a cup of water. Strain this decoction. Drink this tea twice a day to reduce joint pain.
Add 2 grams Ginseng Korean dried powder in a glass of lukewarm water. Drink this mixture once a day to get best results.
Soak one teaspoon root powder of Devil's Claw ( Baghnakh ) in 250 ml water for overnight. Strain this mixture in the morning. Drink this mixture once daily for best results.

Stinging Nettle ( Bichu Buti ) Leaves for Joint Pain and Arthritis
Add fresh or dried leaves of Stinging Nettle ( Bichu Buti ) into a tub of warm water. Soak your painful joints into the water. It provides gentle relief from aching of joints.
Boil 3 – 11 grams of dried Horny Goat Weed herb in four cups of water for 15 minutes. Strain it and drink one cup three times a day.
Massage over the affected area with the Brahmi Oil daily for 20-25 minutes.
Boil 1 teaspoon of Carom seeds in half cup of Mustard oil till all the seeds turns black. Filter the oil and gently massage with this oil over the knee daily.
