Baby Watermelon General

Baby Watermelon is a tropical herb, universally grown in India. A backyard food crop of Hawaii that is grown along the garden railing because of its fascinating flowers. Beta-carotene is the major nutrient present in Baby Watermelon. Baby Watermelon is cultivated because of its vital medicinal usage and is also a profitable source of many micro-nutrients, in addition to vitamin A and C. The fruit is used in Indian and Thai cuisines. Its fruits and shoots are harvested for medicinal purpose. The plant contains glucose-6-phosphatase enzyme inhibitor, which aids in Blood Sugar Level maintenance . Glucose-6-phosphatase is an important enzyme of the liver which helps in sugar metabolism. Hence it is prescribed for Diabetic patients. The fruit has mast cells, maintaining antiasthamatic and anti-anaphylactic potentiality. The roots are a good remedy for Osteoarthritis and Joint Pain. The lotion made of Baby Watermelon leaves is good to cure Scabies.

Ivy Gourd for Skin Diseases

Prepare a decoction of the leaves of Ivy Gourd. Take two times a day.

Ivy Gourd for Diabetes

Eat one raw fruit of Ivy Gourd once a day.

Ivy Gourd for Scabies

Take out the juice from the leaves of Ivy Gourd. Mix one tablespoon of butter in it. Apply two times a day over the affected area.

Ivy Gourd for Eye Diseases

Extract the juice of Ivy Gourd leaves. Put three drops in eye daily for a week.

Ivy Gourd for Diarrhea

Take two tablespoon leaves juice of Ivy Gourd with 1/2 bowl (small bowl) of curd two times a day.

Ivy Gourd for Urine Blockage

Prepare a decoction of Ivy Gourd roots. Have 1/2 cup once a day.

Ivy Gourd for Aphthous Ulcers

Chew the leaves of Ivy Gourd for 10 minutes once in the morning.

Ivy Gourd for Obesity

Prepare a decoction of the stem part of Ivy Gourd. Have it twice a day.

Ivy Gourd for Inflammation

Fry Ivy Gourd leaves in oil ( Castor oil, Neem oil, Sesame Oil ) Apply bearably hot leaves on the affected area and tie with a cotton cloth.
