Materia Medica for Inflammation

Single Herb

Sarsaparilla ( Anantamool ) Root for Inflammation

Make Sarsaparilla ( Anantamool ) Root paste. Apply locally twice or thrice a day.

Ivy Gourd for Inflammation

Fry Ivy Gourd leaves in oil ( Castor oil, Neem oil, Sesame Oil ) Apply bearably hot leaves on the affected area and tie with a cotton cloth.

Spanish Needle for Inflammation

Prepare a decoction of the leaves of Spanish Needle. Take two times a day.

Aristolochia Indica for Inflammation

Crush seeds of Aristolochia Indica with water. Apply locally.
Sprinkle powdered seeds of Red Sandalwood on the inflamed areas.

Henna ( Mehandi ) for Inflammation

Apply oil of Henna seeds over inflamed areas. It helps to reduce the burning sensation.

Velvet Bean for Inflammation

Cut Wood of Sappan Wood into small pieces. Boil them in water. Drink this decoction thrice a day.

Indian Sorrel ( Sarvajjaya ) Leaves as Coolant

Crush leaves of Indian Sorrel ( Sarvajjaya ) to make paste. Apply it over inflamed Skin.

Night Jasmine for Inflammation

Night Jasmine bears Antiinflammatory property. Thus it combats inflammation associated with internal body.
Squeeze the juice of fresh leaves of Night Jasmine. Drink 2 teaspoons twice a day.

Arjuna as an Antiinflamatory

Make a decoction of Arjuna bark. Have 10 ml of it twice a day.

Sida Cordifolia as an Antiinflammatory

Take 1 tsp plant extract of Sida Cordifolia with lukewarm water. Have it once a day.

Spiny Bamboo for Inflammation

Take 1 tsp Bamboo extract twice a day. Bamboo Extract is easily available in the market.

Lepidium Sativum for Inflammation

Massage using Lepidium Sativum seed Oil over inflammed areas.

Citron for Inflammation

Make a decoction with root and stem of Citron. Drink 30 ml of it twice a day.
OR : Make root and or stem paste of Citron. Apply it over inflamed areas.

Gmelina for Inflammation

Extract leave juice of Gmelina. Apply it over Inflamed areas.

Indian Sorrel ( Sarvajjaya ) Leaves for Inflammation

Warm the leaves of Indian Sorrel ( Sarvajjaya ). Use it as poultice over inflamed areas.
Bandage leaves of Caesalpinia Bonduc ( Karanjwa ) over inflamed areas.

Cabbage Rose as an Antiinflammatory

Prepare an infusion of petals of Cabbage Rose. Drink 25 ml of it daily.

Coughwort for Skin

Boil 2 tablespoons of dried Coughwort leaves in 4 cups of water till it is reduced to half.
Use it as a warm compress for Skin diseases and Inflammation.

Drumstick For Inflammation

Grind Drumstick leaves, seeds and bark together and make a fine paste.
Apply as a poultice to relieve Inflammation.

Indian Madder ( Manjeeth ) for Inflammation

Apply the root paste on the Inflamed parts.
Soak a handful of Common Marshmallow ( Khatami ) flowers in some water for about 5-6 hours. Wash the Inflamed skin with this water.

Wintergreen for Inflammation

Wintergreen pocessess Anti inflammatory propety. It aids to cure inflammation.
Grind fresh leaves of Wintergreen. Place it over the inflamed area. Leave it for at least 2 hours. Wash it with normal water.

White Lily for Inflammation

The strong Antiinflammatory property of White lily helps to decrease the inflammation and irritation of the Skin. White Lily calms and lightens the skin.
Take 2 to 3 fresh White Lily flowers. Take out their bulbs. Boil the bulbs in 1/2 cup of water or milk. Let it cool and apply on the affected area. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes. Repeat this procedure 2 to 3 times a day to reduce the Inflammation.

Kale for Inflammation

Drink a glass of Kale juice daily to reduce the inflammation and pain within the body.

Baliospermum Montanum for Inflammation

Make Baliospermum Montanum leaves paste. Apply locally twice a day.

Matico for Inflammation

Prepare an infusion of Matico leaves in 100 ml of water. Drink this infusion daily to reduce the inflammation within the Body.

Cayenne ( Lal Mirch ) for Inflammation

Consume Cayenne ( Lal Mirch ) in your daily diet.

Kalanchoe Pinnata for Inflammation

Take Kalanchoe Pinnata leaves and warm it. Apply Coconut Oil over the warm leaf and put it over the affected areas.

Ziziphus Joazeiro for Inflammation

Prepare an infusion, made of Ziziphus Joazeiro leaves and one cup of hot water. Strain and drink half cup of it, 2 times a day.

Black Salt for Inflammation

Add a pinch of Black Salt in one glass of water. Drink it.

Basil Essential Oil for Inflammation

Basil Essential Oil has Antiinflammatory and Antispasmodic property which relieves Muscular Pain. Gently massage over the affected areas. Repeat the process once a day.

Thyme Essential Oil for Inflammation

Take one tablespoon of Coconut Oil ( or any other carrier oil ) and add six drops of Thyme Essential Oil. Mix them well. Massage it over the affected areas. Repeat the process three times a day.
It will heal the inflamed tissues due to its Antiinflammatory action.

Herbal Treatment For Inflammation 1

Make a mixture of Withania Somnifera root paste in Sesame Oil and apply it topically on the inflamed area or muscles. Follow the procedure once a day.

Hello Sir/Mam
I want to know about inflammation treatment.
Means like turmeric,
Actually am suffering from tinnitus thats directly related to inflammation, if i use Steriods thats bring my T to bearly audible level.
But am fed up of Allopathic treatments , allready suffering from many side affects like puffy face and weigh gain,
So pls tell me a home remeady which can help me to get rid of inflammation naturaly.
Is Turmeric alone will be enough.
Add some more common ingredients which will be antiinflammtory.
Also if in your opinions any other ingredients helpful for tinnitus or to normalise hearing system and to restore any specific hearing loss.

Take Aamla and Aloe Vera Juice every morning for 1 month.
For Tinnitus take Gingko Biloba. Buy capsules and take every day for 15 days.

I have muscle spasm & inflammation in my whole body particularly lower part especially in heals.
I have been using pumpkin, flax seeds & lemon grass along with diclofenac potassium.
