Materia Medica for Thespesia Populnea

Thespesia Populnea General

All plant parts including bark, root, leaves, flower and fruits treat a range of ailments.
The plant fruits and leaves possess Antibacterial property. The seed oil has Antiamoebic activity.
The fruit juice of the plant treats Herpes. Crushed fruit is used in the treatment of Urinary Tract problems and Abdominal Swelling. An extract of fruit heals swollen Testicles. The juice of the pounded fruits mixed with leaves is used as a poultice. This poultice is used to treat Headache and Itches.
Tea of plant leaves treats Rheumatism and Urinary Retention. A decoction of leaves treats Cough, Influenza, Headache and chronic Illness. The leaf sap is used externally for Skin diseases.
A decoction of bark and fruit mixed with oil treats Scabies and Pruritis. The bark of Thespesia Populnea is Astringent in nature. It treats Nasal Bleeding and Vaginal Douche. The bark decoction is used as a cleanse for Wounds. It aids in faster healing. A cold infusion of the bark treats Dysentery, Diabetes, Yellow Urine, Gonorrhea and Thrush. The inner bark is used to treat Constipation and Typhoid.
The inner part of the bark is Carminative in nature. It treats Pleurisy, Cholera, Colic and Chronic Fever.
The root and bark paste is applied topically to treat Tinea Infection.
The stem is employed in treating Breast Cancer. Leaf and bark decoction are used as a remedy for High Blood Pressure.

Cook leaves of Thespesia Populnea in Castor Oil until it turns black. Use it over aching area.

The best cure for Melasma is --
1. Lemon and Honey paste. Mix 1 tablespoon Lemon and 1 tablespoon honey. Apply this mixture on the affected areas. Lemon contains natural bleaching agents.It lightens the dark spots. Honey will make your skin radiant.
Apply the mixture for 15 minutes and then rinse it off with cold water. 2.Eat 1 pomegranate daily. This is one of the best remedies that helps in attaining a glowing Skin. 3. Apply Apple Cider Vinegar toner with a cotton ball on the face, do this twice a day. The toner is made by adding an equal amount of Apple Cider Vinegar and water. Leave it on the face for 15 minutes and then wash with warm water. 4. Apply tomato pulp o the face. Leave it on for 20 miutes on the face. Then wash it off with warm water. Pat dry.
