Bradycardia is a disease of the Heart.
An abnormally slow heart action is Bradycardia.
The normal heart beats 72 times per minute.
When it beats less than 60 times Per Minute, it is considered slow.
It may be Bradycardia. But wait, there is a rider. Some healthy hearts also beat slowly. These are called Athlete's heart. The resting pulse rate of a good athlete may be as low as 40. A proper diagnosis is imperative.
