Can Bugleweed tincture be taken while on Methymazol 5mg, 8 tablets a day? The very high levels of T3 and T4 and zero for TSH were the reason so that the thyroid could slowdown as fast as possible.

We intend to reduce by on tablet every week but keep taking the bugleweed, Lemonbalm and Motherwort until only taking the tinctures and eventually stopping the tincture too. Any help is indeed appreciated.

Dear Ingrid, The interaction of these herbs with Methymazol is unknown. We suggest you go to a nearby health care practitioner if you want to take the tinctures along with the medication. Physical supervision while doing so in must.
