Antianxiety Herbs

Definition

Antianxiety herb are those herbs which are used against symptoms of Anxiety. These herbs are also known as Anxiolytic. These herbs are used to treat Irritation, Depression and Tension. They may have sedative effect.

Single Herbs

Catnip for Anxiety

Prepare an infusion of the dried herb. Drink thrice a day.
OR: Have extract twice a day.

Chamomile ( Babunah ) for Anxiety

Prepare a tea. Add honey. Drink twice a day.

Kava for Anxiety

Prepare root decoction. Drink once a day.
Or : Have root extract. Have once a day.
Caution : Avoid high dosage. It may lead to toxicity.

Withania Somnifera for Stress

Prepare a decoction of the roots. Have twice a day.

Chinese Knotweed has Antianxiety property. Thus, it aids the person suffering from anxiety.
Take half a teaspoon of dried powdered Chinese Knotweed. Boil in half a cup of water. Consume it.

Nutmeg ( Jaiphal ) for Anxiety

Put 2 drops of Nutmeg ( Jaiphal ) oil on your Wrist and rub. Inhale the smell.

Ravensara Essential Oil for Anxiety

Ravensara Essential Oil contains calming effects. It is good to treat Anxiety.
Put few drops of Ravensara Essential Oil in your bathing water.
