The overproduction of thyroid hormone by thyroid gland is Graves Disease.

The production of thyroid is controlled by Pituitary and Hypothalamus.
When the system is impaired the thyroid hormone production either increases or decreases.
When it affects the eyes they bulge out. Hence termed as Graves Disease.
