Materia Medica for Insect Bites
Single Herb Take Root bark. Grind them. Make paste with water. Apply it on the affected part.
Crush the leaves. Mix it in coconut oil. Apply on the affected part.
Sensitive Plant for Insect Bites
Grind the leaves and stem together. Apply paste on the affected part twice a day.
Apply Olive oil twice a day.
Make a paste of the bark. Apply over the affected area.
Take two fresh cloves of Garlic. Squeeze and place on Insect Bites or Stings.
Grind Ginger with water and make the patient smell to alleviate poison.
Apply paste of Achyranthes Aspera leaves on the affected part.
Grind the root of Vicoa Auriculata. Apply over the affected area.
Soak the roots in water overnight. Apply it on the affected part.
Make fine paste of Cat Tail Plant leaves. Add a small quantity of Slaked lime in it. Apply locally.
Take Catharanthus Roseus leaves. Boil them. Extract them. Apply it on the affected area.
Solidago Virgaurea for Insect Bites
Make a paste by grinding the flowers of Solidago Virgaurea and apply on the affected area.
Bush Basil Leaves for Insect Bites
Crush few Bush Basil Leaves. Rub over the affected part.
Make a poultice of the leaves and apply on the affected area.
Short Styled Onion as Insect and Moth Repellent
The juice of the plant is used as a moth repellent. The whole plant is said to repel insects and moles.
Rub the fresh flower on the affected area for quick relief.
Apply a poultice of the leaves on the affected area. It can be used as a good first aid for snake and Insect Bites.
Chew leaves of Plantago Asiatica. It helps to get relief from redness and itching.
Add some water in Tobacco to make paste. Apply it over affected areas.
Eucalyptus ( Safeda ) Oil for Insect Bites
Apply Eucalyptus oil over bitten area. It helps in relieving pain.
Tie petals of Marigold over affected areas.
Take One tablespoon powdered Fennel ( Saunf ) seeds.
Put into One cup of water and steep for 10-15 minutes.
Give it to the patient 3-4 times a day.
Make a poultice of the plant and apply externally to the affected area.
A leaf poultice can be used externally for Wounds and Insect Bites.
OR : Make a paste of Indigo ( Nili ) with warm water and use for burns, scalds, wounds, insect bites, animal bites, boils.
Witch Hazel reduces inflammation. Apply Witch Hazel oil to the affected area.
Or: Apply the paste of Witch Hazel leaves directly over the Insect Bites.
Grind some fresh leaves and apply the paste on affected area. It also reduces Swelling.
Apply leave paste of Carambola over bitten area.
Apply the leaf juice on the affected area.
OR : Rub the crushed leaves on the affected part.
Grind the bark by adding a few drops of water and make a paste. Apply the paste evenly on the affected skin. Repeat after 2-3 hours.
Make a poultice using leaves of Chinese Gynura. Use it over Insect Bite.
Make a paste of Common Marshmallow ( Khatami ) root by adding some water and apply on the affected part.
Wash the affected area under cold water and then liberally coat with Honey.
Take a slice of raw Papaya ( Papita ) and rub on the affected skin. It helps in neutralizing the poison content.
Onion ( Pyaz in India ) reduces the swelling and itchiness due to Insect bite.
Take a small piece of Onion cut into half and rub it on the affected ares on Insect Bites. Do this 2 to 3 times day.
Rub Crushed Guava ( Amrood ) leaves over the affected areas.
Grind 2 Black Plum leaves to make a fine paste. Mix it with one cup of water. Drink it.
Mix Sandalwood Essential Oil, Turmeric Oil and Lavender Essential Oil in a ratio of 1:1:1. Apply on the affected areas.
It will provide relief from Swelling and Itchiness due to Insect Bite.
Grind fresh Basil roots to make a paste. Apply this paste on the affected skin. Repeat the process two times a day.
You can also use freshly extracted Basil leave juice in place of Basil roots.
Dilute Tea Tree Essential Oil with Coconut Oil ( or any other carrier oil ) in a ratio of 1:1. Repeat the process after every two hours.

Mix half tablespoon Lemon Juice ( Nimbo ) in One tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar ( Seb Ka Sirka ) and apply on the affected area with a cotton ball.

Baking Soda ( Meetha Soda in India ) soothes the skin and reduce itching due to Insect Bites. Lavender Essential Oil has strong Antiseptic property. This property helps to kill germs and reduce pain.
Take 1 tablespoon of Baking Soda. Add 1 to 2 drops of Lavender Essential Oil and water in it. Mix well to form a thick paste. Apply it onto the affected area. Leave it for 10 to 15 minutes. Repeat twice a day.

Boil 5 to 10 grams leaves of each Azadirachta Indica ( Neem ) and Albizia Lebbeck ( Siris ) in 150 ml of water for 10 minutes. Strain it off. Wash of your affected sores to heal the area.
