Carica Papaya is a member of the Caricaceae family. The hindi name of papaya is "Papita". The papaya is popular for its sweet taste and health benefits. The Papaya originated from america, the delicious and mouthwatering taste made it famous all over the world. The leaves, fruit, seeds and latex of the papaya tree are used for medicinal purpose.

Papaya ( Papita ) for Kidney Stone

Grind 50 gms papaya tree root in some water. Drinking this water twice a day for One week.

Papaya ( Papita ) for Acid Reflux

Add Papaya fruit in salads.

Papaya ( Papita ) for Anemia

Take one small bowl of Papaya pulp once a day.

Papaya ( Papita ) for Sour Belching

Cut Papaya in to small pieces. Sprinkle Rock Salt and Black Pepper. Put Lemon juice over it. Have One bowl tow times a day.

Eat 250 g ripe Papaya daily.

Eat 250 g Papaya daily. Have it in dinner.

Mash 2 pieces of Papaya ( Papita ). Add 1/4 teaspoon of Turmeric ( Haldi ). Mix. Apply on the face. Let it dry and wash with simple water.

Papaya ( Papita ) for Ascaris

Take 200 g unripe Papaya. Boil it in 300 ml water until water evaporates. Add 1 tsp Honey in it and eat.
OR : Cut Papaya leaves in small pieces. Make a decoction of it. Filter and drink 30 ml of it daily.
OR: Take Papaya seeds. Powdered them. Have it with water or Milk in the morning before Breakfast .

Papaya ( Papita ) for Dengue

Take fresh leaves of Papaya and remove its mid rib. Grind them to make paste and boil it in water. Filter. Drink 10 ml of it 3 times a day.

Papaya ( Papita ) for Ringworms

Rub a piece of Papaya over the affected area.
Or: Make a paste of Dry Papaya seeds. Apply over the affected area.

Papaya ( Papita ) for Menstrual Disorders

Prepare vegetable of raw Papaya ( Papita ).
OR : Eat a piece of unripe Papaya ( Papita ) as salad.
OR : Drink the juice of raw Papaya ( Papita ) regularly for 2-3 months.
Note : Avoid it during your periods.

Papaya for Stings

Rub raw papaya over affected area. It helps in lowering the Stinging effect.
OR : Crush Papaya seeds to make paste. Apply it over Sting.

Papaya ( Papita ) for Hyperpigmentation

Mashed Papaya and apply as a face pack. It remove tan and Sunburn and improve skin complexion.

Papaya ( Papita ) for Heavy Menstrual Bleeding

Take a raw Papaya ( Papita ). Cut 2 long slices and cut them in to small pieces. Steam them for 2 minutes. Sprinkle salt and black pepper over them and eat.

Papaya ( Papita ) for Cracked Heels

Papaya ( Papita in India ) contains Papain. Papain removes the dead Skin cells and makes the heel smooth.
Take a Papaya. Cut it into half and peel it. Mash it to make a paste. Apply the paste on the Cracked Heels. Leave it for half an hour. Wash with cold water. Repeat it 1 to 2 times a week.

Papaya ( Papita ) gives a healthy and fair look to your skin.

Take a slice of raw Papaya ( Papita ) and rub on the affected skin. It helps in neutralizing the poison content.

Papaya for Dull Skin

Papaya is very good for Skin. You may eat papaya or apply face pack.

Good morning, I read in another article that dried papaya leaves can be used as a blood purifier. Are you able to advise on the preparation of a decoction for this purpose.

Yes it is. But papaya can also act as a purgative, and too much can upset the stomach. So a caution is must.
