Split Ends is a disease of the Hair.
When shaft of the hair splits, giving hair a feathery appearance it is called Split Ends.
Like our body, hair also needs nourishment. But in today's world people are more tempted to fashion. The increased use of chemicals and experiments with the hair is causing hair damage. These experiments damage the outer layer ( Cuticle ) of the hair. Cuticle protects the two inner layers Cortex and Medulla. Once Cuticle is damaged the internal layers are exposed to the damage.
Nutrients from the scalp are unable to reach the Hair ends. Gradually the hair become dehydrated and undernourished. This results into Split Ends.

Single Herb
Chicken Egg ( Murgi Ka Anda ) for Split Ends
Take a Chicken Egg ( Murgi Ka Anda ). Break and put material in a bowl. Beat. Add 2 tablespoon Olive ( Jaitun ) or Almond ( Badam ) Oil. Stir. Apply it from scalp to tip. Cover head with plastic cover. Let it for half an hour. Rinse with mild shampoo. Do it twice a week. It strengthens the hair and recovers split ends.
Vitamin A and Vitamin E are the key nutrients of Avocado ( Makhanphal in India ). These nutrients condition the Hair and resolve the problem of Split Ends.
Take a ripe Avocado. Mash it and add 2 tablespoons of any Carrier Oil. Mix well to form a paste. Apply the paste thoroughly from the scalp to hair tip. Leave it for 30 minutes. Rinse off. Wash the Hair with a Shampoo. Do this once a week for a month.
Take 2 slices of Papaya ( Papita ). Peel and cut. Put in a blender. Add 2 tablespoons of Yogurt ( Dahi ). Blend. Apply from scalp to tips. Cover. Rinse with mild shampoo after drying.
Put one tablespoon in a mug of lukewarm water. Rinse with this water after shampooing your hair. Leave it for 10 minutes. Wash with normal water.
Honey ( Shehad ) prevents the hair to get dry and frizzy, which may lead to split ends.
Extract Aloe Vera ( Gheekumari ) gel. Apply it to the tips of your hair. Tie your hair and cover with a plastic bag. Leave it for an hour. Rinse it with lukewarm water.
Egg White ( Ande Ki Safedi ) for Split Ends
Egg White ( Ande Ki Safedi in India ) is a rich source of Protein and Fatty Acids. These nutrients strengthen the Hair follicles and lock the moisture in to them. They make the Hair soft and treat the problem of Split Ends.
Take 1 to 2 tablespoons of Egg White in a bowl. Apply it on the ends of the Hair. Gently massage. Comb the Hair. Leave it for half an hour. Wash with a mild shampoo. Repeat this process 2 times a week.
Banana ( Kela in India ) keeps the Hair soft and healthy. It improves the Hair elasticity and combats the problem of Split Ends.
Mash a Banana and add 2 tablespoons of Carrier Oil into it. Mix it well to form a paste. Apply the paste on the Spilt Ends. Leave it for 20 to 25 minutes. Wash with a shampoo. Repeat this process 1 to 2 times a week.
Olive Oil ( Jaitun ka Tel in India ) is rich in Vitamin E. Vitamin E adds moisture to the Hair. It makes the Hair soft and smooth. Olive oil reduces the dryness of the Hair and cures the problem of Split Ends.
Take 1 tablespoon of lukewarm Olive Oil. Gently apply the Oil to the hair ends. Cover the Hair with a towel. Leave for an hour. Wash with Shampoo. Repeat it 2 to 3 times a week.

Note : If shampoo is needed, try to use homemade shampoo.
