Description
Bile Duct Cancer is a disease of the Bile Duct, Gallbladder and the Liver.
The Cancer that originates from the Bile Duct is Bile Duct Cancer.
Bile Duct is a tube that contains bile and transports the bile to the Gallbladder. It connects the Liver and the Gallbladder to the Small intestines. Bile is secreted by the Liver and stored in the Gallbladder. A cancerous bile duct causes a blockage and the bile goes back into the Liver and then to the Blood. This leads to Jaundice.
The cell division is regulated by the body. If the cells are not under control, it gives rise to Cancer. It may be due to mutation in the Genes.
