Description
Hematoma is a disease of the Blood Vessels.
The clotting of blood within the tissues is Hematoma.
It damages the wall of the blood vessels and blood leaks into the tissues. It causes blue black patches and skin discoloration.
There is no external bleeding.
Types oh Hematoma:
Epidural Hematoma : It is associated with skull fracture that leads to bleeding between the skull and the outer or protective layer of the Brain. It causes pressure in the brain that compression of brain tissues. It may results in Brain shift.
Subgaleal Hematoma : It is associated with Skull Fracture or may be a result of vacuum assisted delivery. It causes Bleeding between the Periosteum and the Galea Aponeurosis, the potential space of the Brain.
Cephal Hematoma : It may be a result of prolonged labor or instrumental delivery. The pressure that occurs during child birth may cause collection of blood beneath the skull of newborn baby. it may leads to meningitis.
Subdural Hematoma: The clotting of blood on the outer surface of the Brain is Subdural Hematoma. It is associated with head injury. It is further divided into two types. Acute, Subacute and Chronic.
Acute Subdural Hematoma : It is the life taking types of hematomas. It is associated with serious head injuries. the symptoms of this hematoma may be seen immediately after an injury. The The blood leaks from the ruptured tissues and collects in the brain area.
Subacute Subdural Hematoma : It is associated with minor head injury. The symptoms may not be seen immediately. It may not be come under notice for few weeks.
Chronic Subdural Hematoma : It is associated with mild injury or repeated falls. It is common in old age people, as the small veins shrinks at old age and more prominent to get damaged.

Materia Medica for Hematoma
Single Herb Take Arnica Montana (30 CH) two tablets two times a day.
Or: Apply Arnica gel on the affected area.
Or: Arnica liquid form:
Put 2 drops in 4 tablespoon of water. Have it two times a day.
Caution:
Do not take food or drink for 30 minutes before or after having Arnica.
Fruits for Hematoma
Increase the intake of citrus fruit like Orange, Grapefruits, Strawberries, Papaya, Apricots in daily diet.
Ice Compression for Hematoma
Wrap ice in towel. Put it over the affected area. Repeat the process 3-4 times a day.
Rosemary Oil for Hematoma
Apply Rosemary oil over the affected area two times a day.
Witch Hazel Oil for Hematoma
Extract the Oil from Witch Hazel leaves and bark. Massage the affected area with this oil two -three times a day.
Extract the juice from the leaves of Alfalfa. Have one glass once a day.
Golden Seal ( Pit Kanad ) for Hematoma
Have two capsules of Golden seal two times a day.
Prepare a decoction of Golden seal roots. Wash the affected area with this when bearably hot.
Make infusion of Marigold flower. Wash the affected area.
Apply Aloe Vera gel to the affected area.
Prepare a decoction of Yarrow flower. Wet the affected area with this decoction.
Make an infusion of Marjoram flowers. Wet the affected area with this infusion.
Make infusion of Lavender flower. Wet the affected area with this infusion.
Apply the root poultice over the affected area.
