Tobacco is a relaxant herb. It is used in Chronic Asthma. It possesses Sedative, Diuretic, Expectorant, Discutient and Sialagogue. It is used internally as an Emetic. It is used as an Antiseptic.
The smoke of tTbacco treats Hernia. The smoke is injected into rectum for the treatment. The smoke is beneficial in treating Constipation, Urine retention, Spasmodic Urethral structure, Hysterical Convulsions and Worms.
A poultice of leaves is used as an ointment for Cutaneous diseases.
