Will you please share that why do you even wish to take Brahmi ?
I mean is there any problem that you wish to set right ? Brahmi is a nervine( pertains to the nervous system ) herb. During pregnancy, it is usually not safe. I think the same is mentioned above in the "side effects" section of this herb. Not to be taken during pregnancy. Kindly scroll up.

1 said "its a good tonic for liver.. its treat liver desease such as hepatitis and jaundice"...
1 said "long term use may cause liver problem or comma"....
I dont know which one is true...??...

Swapnil Bhatt ( India )
10 Apr 2017
Yes, the herb is used as a tonic for Liver. This is true.
The side effect of using the herb for a long time and in excess is that it may cause Liver Disease or comma. So, both the statements are correct.
The first one is the benefit of the herb when taken in appropriate amount.
The second statement is the side effect caused, when you take this herb beyond the normal dosage or amount.

Hi:

Am an expat who lives in Vietnam. Every day, I drink four large glasses of pennywort juice, called Rau Ma in Vietnamese. It has magic effects on me, especially on my energy level. At the market, the leaves are pressed before me and it's pure stuff, with little coconut juice added to it to make it sweat. It costs $ US 0.50 per glass and it's a big one. Recommend it to anyone.
