Mint General

Mint is known as Pudina in Hindi. It is associated to the family of Lamiaceae. It is aboriginal to Europe and Asia. It is known for its aromatic properties and is used in a variety of cuisines. Hi, I am in my first trimester.
I feel nausea when I have water, so I started having water with mint leaves.
Please let us know why it is suggested to avoid mint during pregnancy. Will it have any serious impact on the baby?

Mint is safe to use but in normal quantity. Do not drink in excess. ..However, Remember that every pregnancy is unique just as every individual is unique, consult with your doctor first before trying any type of herbal drink.

Please tell me why do you wish to take Mint juice every day. You may take lemon juice added with mint every day. Mint juice is known to detoxify your body. You must add lemon, or honey or coriander to it. Drinking mint juice every day alone can make you dependent on it

You mean to stay that the the stomach ache is because of mint ? Since, Mint is known to cure abdominal pains. It should not happen. Are you sure you did not t6ake anything, post 30 minutes of having the mint. Are you taking any other medication that might have interacted with it ?

Yes Mint can be used. It is not very effective so take other herbs along with Mint. Please follow the following regimen:
* Ashoka: Take Ashoka tonic for a month. Take 1 teaspoon daily.
* Chaste berry: Take ChasteBerry tea for a month or dried Chasteberry.
* Basil/Mint tea: Take Mint tea, 1 cup daily.
* Land Caltrops: Take the herb in homeopathic form Tribulus Terrestris- mother tincture. Take 2 drops daily in a glass of water.
* Dong Quai: Take Dong Quai capsules for 15 days. 1 capsule daily.
* Dandelion: Include Dandelion in your diet. Take the herbs for a month. After a month, take the following for conceiving:
Take the seed powder of Drypetes Roxburghii and Stripped cucumber. Take 1 teaspoon each powder daily for 15 days.
Do no take while menstruating.
Write back after 2 months.
