Description

Glossitis is a disease of the Tongue.
An Allergic reaction which causes Inflammation of the Tongue is termed as Glossitis. It causes swelling of the Tongue and difficulty in Chewing, Swallowing and in Speaking.

Materia Medica for Glossitis

Single Herb

Chamomile for Glossitis

Put 1 tablespoon of dried Chamomile flowers in one cup of water. Boil it. Simmer for 10 minutes. Strain and let it cool. Have it chilled, twice a day.

Vegetable Glycerin for Glossitis

Take Vegetable Glycerin and soak a cotton ball in it. Apply over your tongue and leave it for 10 minutes. Gently brush your tongue and rinse with lukewarm water. Repeat the process 2 times a day.

Aloe Vera for Glossitis

Take a fresh Aloe Vera leaf and extract the gel from it. Apply over your tongue and leave it for 10 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Repeat the process 2 times a day.

Apple Cider Vinegar for Glossitis

Take 1 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar and quarter teaspoon of Baking Soda. Mix them in one glass of water. Rinse your mouth 2 to 3 times a day.

Coconut Oil for Glossitis

Take 1 teaspoon of organic Coconut Oil and put it in your mouth. Swish for 15 minutes and spit out the oil. Rinse the mouth with lukewarm water. Do this daily in the morning on an empty stomach.

Mint for Glossitis

Put a few fresh Mint leaves in one cup of water. Boil it. Simmer for 10 minutes. Strain and let it cool. Have it chilled, twice a day.

Suffering from Glossitis with redness and inflamed tongue with blisters and is extremely sore to touch and food. There is saliva in the mouth.
