St John's Wort may cause High Blood Pressure if taken in high dosage. Please consult a doctor for dosage.
taking high dose for long time may cause certain side effects as :

Prepare a tea from St John’s Wort dried herbs. Boil one tablespoon of this herb in one cup of water for 25 minutes. Add half teaspoon of Honey in it. Strain it and drink once a day.

Steep 1 teaspoon of dried St. John’s Wort roots in one cup of hot water for 15 minutes. Drink 15 ml of it thrice daily.

Prepare a decoction of St John's Wort flowers. Consume 15 ml of it 2 times a day.

Apply a poultice, made of St John’s Wort leaves paste and little lukewarm water over the affected area.

Add 1 teaspoon of dried St. John's Wort leaves in one cup of water. Boil it. Simmer for 15 minutes. Drink it thrice daily, after meals.

Have St John's Wort extract, 300 mg twice a day.

Prepare a tea, made of one teaspoon of powdered St. John’s Wort root and one cup of water. Drink it twice daily.

Drink a cup of tea by boiling 1 teaspoon of dried St. John's Wort leaves in one cup of water twice daily.

St John's Wort for Psychosis

Grind St. John's Wort herb with little water to extract its juice. Take 1 tablespoon of this juice daily.

St John's Wort for Menopause

Make a tea of St John's Wort flowers or leaves. Have a cup of tea 2 times in a day. It is helpful in treating menopausal symptoms.

Take 4-5 drops of Tea Tree essential Oil and 2-3 drops of Myrrh Oil.
Mix them with half teaspoon each of St John's Wort and Liquorice Root.
Put all these ingredients in an airtight jar and place away from heat and sunlight.
Shake well and directly apply thrice a day.

Herbal Treatment For Bed Wetting 2

Take One tablespoon of each herb-
St. Johns Wort, Raspberry and Agrimony.
Steep in One cup of hot water for 5 minutes.
Drink before retiring.

Herbal Treatment For Melasma 3

Take one tablespoon of each Dandelion ( Dudal ) tea and St John's Wort ( Choli Phulya ) tea. Let them mix for 5 minutes. Sip it an hour before having lunch.
Note : Be attentive to your diet. Add fruits, Green vegetables and soup in your diet.

Herbal Treatment For Varicose Veins 8

Mix together in a bowl 4 drops of Chamomile Essential Oil, 3 drops of Carrot Seed Essential Oil, 2 drops of Lavender Essential Oil and 1 tablespoon of St John’s Wort tincture. Soak the cloth in this Oil mixture. Strain it to drain the excess solution. Place this cloth on the affected Varicose vein area.

Friends I just read about St Johns Wort and it's effect on the Male reproductive organs, I am worried if it will cause similar side effects to the female reproductive organs too.

Heard it makes the skin sensitive which causes skin rash, not sure about the effect on sexual organs. Reduced sex drive, inability to have an orgasm, erectile dysfunction are common in men and women.

Yes.
Even I have heard of many side effects of this Herbs. It may cause :

Fatigue,
It Inhibits sperm motility in men,
may destroy reproductive eggs in women,
Causes dry mouth, dizziness,
It may interact with medicines used during surgery. bipolar disorder patients should avoid it.
This Herb may seriously make infertility worse. Have heard of several cases.

So you have to be really careful while taking this Herb, high dosage should be avoided.

Kevin. 1.You may buy the homeopathic tincture of this herb. It is known as Hypericum. Take 5 drops in a glass of water for 20 days , regularly. 2. Buy Agrimony mother tincture from a Homeopathy shop and take 5 drops twice in a day.
