Description
Hypersomnia is a disease of the Metabolism.
When a person is unable to stay awake during the day it is Hypersomnia.
Excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) manifests itself by persistent sleepiness. There is a lack of energy in body. Even if the patient has had a full night's sleep, the person is still drowsy.
EDS is a general term. It may include several specific sleep disorders. Sleepiness is what you see. The cause may be Narcolepsy, Sleep Apnoea or a Circadian Rhythm Disorder.

Kidney Failure
Multiple Sclerosis
Certain Medications
Inadequate sleep at night
Impairment of the autonomic nervous system
Another Sleeping Disorder such as Narcolepsy
If not treated properly, Hypersomnia may cause
Fatigue
Restlessness
Materia Medica for Hypersomnia
Single Herb Boil 3 to 4 big spoons of Fennel in 1 liter water. Boil until the mixture remains to half. Add some rock salt and have 1 cup in the morning and evening.
