Description
Achromatopsia is a disease of the Eyes.
The inability to distinguish between the colors is called Achromatopsia.
There are two types of Nerves (Cones and Rodes) connecting the Eyes to the Brain. These Nerves are a part of the Retina and are responsible for detecting colors. These nerves get light from the Pupil and send the message to the Brain.
Retina is the picture maker. When something is wrong with the Retina, it causes Color Blindness.
People with Achromatopsia are only able to see black, grey and white shades. They are not able to define or distinguish the colors.
