Description
Drooping Eyelids is a disease of the Eyelids.
It may affect one or both eyes. Mostly it affects only one eye and the upper lid.
The patient has no control over his eye muscles. The droop is involuntary. He cannot raise the eyelid at will.
It may be by birth or it may develop later. If it develops slowly the cause may be difficult to isolate. You will probably have to treat the droop. But if it develops within hours or days, it portends a serious disease. Look for that disease and treat it.
