Description

Computer Vision Syndrome is a disease of the Eyes.
Continuous use of computer and laptops causes Computer Vision Syndrome. This causes strain on the Eyes and makes the vision blur.

When we work on computers, our eyes and mind are completely focused on the computer screen. We do not look here and there. The harmful radiations from the computers put our Eyes under great strain. This also affects our eye muscles and results in Headache. It increases the risk of developing other Eye Disorders.

Causes of Computer Vision Syndrome
Poor Lighting
Poor seating posture
Improper viewing distances
Continuous use of Computer and Laptop Screens

If not treated properly, Computer Vision Syndrome may cause
Other Eye Complications

Note : To prevent this disease, while working on the computer screens, you should take breaks after every 20 mins. This may reduce pressure and strain on the Eyes.
While working on the screen, Focusing your vision on a distant object also helps in relaxing the Eye Muscles.
You should blink your Eyes quite often while focusing on the screens. As blinking will help to retain the moisture in the Eyes, thus, preventing irritation and dryness of the Eyes.
Always sit in a correct posture. And avoid working in dim light.
