Description
Uveitis is a disease of the Eyes.
An inflammation of the Uvea is Uveitis.
Uvea is a pigmented layer present beneath the cornea and sclera of the Eye. It consists of the Ciliary Body, Iris and the Choroid.
Ciliary Body contains ciliary muscles.
Iris is the colored part of the eye.
Choroid is present between the white sclera and the Retina.
The Uvea provides nourishment to different parts of the Eye. The inflammation causes swelling of the tissues and reduces the Vision.
