Japanese Encephalitis is a disease of the Brain.
The Viral infection that causes swelling in the Brain is Japanese Encephalitis.
The Virus transfers to the human body through mosquitoes. The mosquitoes feed on Pigs and infected birds or animals. When the infected mosquito bites Human body the Virus enters the Glands and Bloodstream. It multiplies in the Blood Stream. When they enter the Brain they cause swelling and damage.

If not treated properly, Japanese Encephalitis may cause
Coma
Paralysis
Mental Retardation
