Description
Absence Seizure is a disease of the Nervous System that effects the activities of the Brain.
It is more common in children than adults. It is also known as Petit Mal seizures.
Our Brain has communicators that communicate with the help of Chemical and electrical signals. But when some goes wrong with the Nervous system, it disrupts those electrical signals and causes unconsciousness for few seconds. It affects the normal functioning of the Brain.
The actual cause of Absence Seizures has not found yet. Heredity may be one of the reasons.
