Raisin is a dried form of Grape fruit.

Raisin General

A dried grape is called Raisin. Raisins are packed with essential vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates. They make you feel strong, healthy and full of energy. They are useful in countering fatigue and weakness. Recommended for growing children and sportsperson.

Single Herb

Raisin ( Kishmish ) for Backache

Take 3-4 Raisins at bed time.

Raisin ( Kishmish ) for Fever

Dip some Raisins in a cup of water. Leave it overnight. Crush the raisins in the water. Strain and drink. You may add few drops of Lemon juice before drinking.

Raisin ( Kishmish ) for Low Blood Pressure

Dip some Raisins in the water overnight. Eat them in the morning on an empty stomach. Consume it regularly to control the fluctuation in the Blood Pressure.

Raisin ( Kishmish ) for Tennis Elbow

Take 1 kg golden Raisin. Dip them in Gin. Gin is a spirit type alcohol having flavor from Juniper Berries. It is easily available at liquor shop. Let the tincture remain for 1 week at room temperature. Eat 5 raisins from it in the morning. Use this remedy for about 6 months. You will see the magical results within this period.

Raisin ( Kishmish ) for Swollen Elbow

If an Injury is the cause, and you have developed a Tennis Elbow, then use Raisins.
Make a tincture of Golden Raisins with Gin ( Alcohol ). Keep Golden Raisins in Gin for at least 10 days. Eat 10 Raisins early in the morning. Eat continuously for at least one month.

Raisin ( Kishmish ) for Anemia

Raisins ( Kishmish in India ) contain Iron, Copper and Vitamin B. These nutrients are essential for the formation of Red blood cells.
Soak 15 to 25 Raisins ( Kishmish) in water. Leave it overnight. Next morning, eat the Raisins ( Kishmish) and drink the water. Repeat the process everyday.

Consume 4-5 Raisins daily.

Add 5 g Ginger ( Adrak in India ) and 8 g Raisins ( Kishmish in India ) in 200 ml water. Boil and let it cool. Drink 1 cup of it once a day.

Herbal Treatment For Amnesia 1

Soak 10 Raisins ( Kishmish ) at night. In the next morning drink the water. Eat Raisins with 2 Walnuts ( Akhrot ). Repeat this procedure daily to get the best results.

Herbal Treatment For Debility 10

Soak One dried Fig ( Anjeer ), a few Raisins and 1-2 Almonds ( Badam ) in some water overnight. Next morning eat all these and drink the water.

Herbal Treatment For Sore Throat 2

Grind Dates , Raisins, Black Pepper, Long Pepper and Terminalia Bellirica ( Baheda in India ) in equal quantities. Take One tablespoon of this paste with equal quantity of Honey thrice a day. It is also good for cough.

Herbal Treatment For Chikungunya 3

Boil a glass of water for 5 minutes . Add 1 teaspoon each of Ajwain , Raisins , 5 Neem Leaves and 10 Tulsi Leaves . Boil for 10 minutes . Pour it in a glass without straining . Drink and chew while its hot , take it 3 times a day , half an hour after meal .

Herbal Treatment For Lower back pain 17

Ingredients :
Coarse Sooji ( Semolina ) - 4 Cups
Ghee ( Clarified Butter ) - 2 Cups
Coconut ( Dry sliced ) - 1/2 Cup
Pistachio Nuts ( Sweet ) - 1/2 Cup
Almonds ( Unpeeled ) - 2 Cups
Munakka ( Big raisins ) - 1/2 Cup
Crystal Sugar ( Mishri ) - 3 Cups
Green Cardamom Seeds - 10
Katira Gond ( Tragacanth gum ) - 1/2 Cup
KamarKas ( Bastard Teak ) - 1/2 Cup
Char Maghaz - 1/2 Cup
( Combination of Almonds, Pumpkin seeds, Cantaloupe Seeds and Watermelon seeds )
Makhanay ( Euryale Ferox ) - 1/2 Cup
Raisins - 1/2 Cup

Step 1:
Take 1/2 cup of Ghee in a broad pan and heat. Add Coconut , Pistachio , Almonds , Munakka , Katira Gond , Char Maghaz , Makhanay and Raisins to it . Fry on a low heat until it turns light brown. Spread them separately on a paper till all the Ghee is absorbed.
Step 2:
Crush all the nuts coarsely.
Step 3:
Take a pan and fry Kamarkas and lay it separately on a paper.
Step 4:
Take 2 cups of Ghee and heat it. Add Green Cardamom Seeds and let them splutter and then add Sooji and mix well till Sooji turns light brown. Do not let Sooji burn.
Step 5:
Add all the crushed nuts and Crystal Sugar to the mixture and keep mixing on a low heat. Sugar should stay a bit crunchy.
Step 6:
Add Kamarkas in it and mix again. Let it cool.
Step 7:
Consume one large table spoon every day with warm milk. Preserve it in an air-tight container. It stays fresh up to 2 months.

Herbal Treatment For Erectile Dysfunction 1

Take 1 teaspoon each of Saffron, Cardamom, Dry Coconut Gratings, Raisins and Powdered Rock Sugar ( Mishri ). Mix and wrap all the herbs in a Betel leaf. Chew it after meals.

Herbal Treatment For Erectile Dysfunction 5

Take 1 teaspoon of Black Raisins and wash them in lukewarm water. Boil it in 250 ml of Milk for 20 minutes. Drink it thrice daily.

Yes you can eat them together. Do not eat more than 10 dakh ( raisin ) and 5 Almonds in a day .
Do not eat them in summers as they are hot in potency. If you wish to eat in summers then dip raisins and almonds in a glass of water. Leave it overnight and then eat in the morning.

Raisins, specially the black ones are known to delay signs of aging, like blemishes, wrinkles and sagging of skin. The herb has antioxidants which prevent the skin from damage caused by sun and air pollution...
Regular consumption of this herb makes skin look beautiful and radiant. If you talk about allergies like eczema, vitiligo or rashes, or itching, then I don't think raisin is the right herb. For those allergies, the herbs are-- Neem, Tea tree essential oil, Turmeric, Eclipta, Bakuchi oil, etc. There are many, depending on the type of allergy that you wanna cure.

The Raisins are hot in nature, thus, not recommended in summers. So, it is always recommended to soak it, so as to change it's potency from hot to cold. Because it is not recommended to be used as a cure in summers ( or in hot region ), therefore, it is recommended to soak it Natalie.

The combo leads to weight gain, not to weight loss. For constipation, drink Baking Soda, a pinch to a glass of water every day. And also, drink 2 tablespoons of Indian Gooseberry juice everyday for a month.

Eating raisins every day can increase your weight. They are densely packed A small serving of raisins provide a high amount of calories. In case you want ton increase weight in a month, Eat about one-fifth cup of dried raisins throughout the day for a month. This is one of the easiest ways to gain weight.
You may also try dry Figs. These also help to increase weight.

Yes, it is a good combination. But I would suggest that you do not take it during summers, because it is hot in nature and might not suit you. You may boil it in milk. an then have it. But why do you want to take it, if it is hot in nature.
Eat 250 gm of fresh watermelon, this will improve your libido and also you may take Horny Goatweed capsule, one daily, for a month.
Drink half glass of Pomegranate juice daily for a month.

There is no side effect as such. The herb is hot in nature, so if you think you feel you have headache, dizziness, it will be probably because of prolonged use of Raisins and Dates. Why are you taking these herbs ?

Have Milk thistle capsules, one every day for a month. This is the best remedy for fatty Liver. Also, have Kutki Powder with a glass of warm water. take half teaspoon of this powder, every morning after breakfast for one week.

Take 5 to 8 Raisins every day. I hope you know that raisins are hot in nature, so if your potency is hot, you should not take it, instead take Saffron in milk or Cordyceps. To gain weight, eat healthy nutritious diet. Eat a banana with a glass of milk every morning.

To increase your hb, you should soak 5-7raisins in water, keep them soaked over night. Next morning, eat those raisins, this will increase your haemoglobin and you will not put on weight.

Dry raisins are hot in potency, so you should avoid that. SOaked raisins will boost your immunity and increase your hemoglobin. To put on weight have banana and milk every morning. DO regular exercise, so that your appetite increases. Do not take any artificial supplements.
Increase protein intake in your daily diet.

I want to gain weight ,I feel dizziness sometimes (very rare), I didn't check my hemoglobin level yet.
(I also use spectacles ,my left eye has no. 2.75 and right has 3)
I eat 5-6 kishmish 5-6 munakka 6 almonds (soaked overnight) every morning.
Will it be hot?
Should I soaked everything before eating them?
Should I change anything else in this way of eating?

Please advise can black raisin (manakka) be given to six year girl. My daughter is thin and very prone to cold and cough. I have heard that black raisins are hot in nature and I am leaving in a place where temperature shoots to 50 degrees in summers and drops to 5 degrees in winters. please advise can it lead to early menstruation age in her as currently she is just six years.
