Description

Aren’t you talking about Ginseng Siberian (reverse)?

Thanks for your reply. A few more questions for you: 1) Is the tincture a good choice and if so, is alcohol or water extracted best for stress, hyperthyroidism and autoimmune balancing? 2) I want to avoid taking it as a tea or decoction; what is your best second choice as a form (tablet, capsule, powder or tincture? 3) Eleutherococcus Senticosusis is the scientific name I should look for to avoid the confusion with Ginseng? 4) Any counter reaction when taken with Bugleweed, Lemonbalm and Motherwort? 5) Any side effect when someone is taking Methimazole, a medication used for hyperthyroidism (man, not woman, and the hyperthyroidism was induced by supplementing with Lugol’s Iodine).

1. Alcoholic tinctures are made mostly from the herbs. Alcohol/water is decided as per the solubility of the herb.
2. You can take it as a tincture.
3. Eleutherococcus Senticosus already exists in the common names for Ginseng Siberian.
4. These herbs are good for Thyroid problems. For Hyperthyroidism, take Ginseng Siberian and Bugleweed.
* Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of dried Siberian Ginseng in a cup of hot water. Let it steep for 10 to 12 minutes. Strain well and drink it lukewarm. Have it two times a day.
or
* Bugleweed balances the hormones. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of Bugleweed leaves in a cup of hot water. Steep and drink once in a day for 2 to 3 weeks.
5. Interaction with Methimazole is not known. Please consult your doctor for the continued use of allopathic medicine.
