Dear Rahul,

Alopecia Areata is really a heart breaking condition. However, it can be treated with herbal remedies. Herbs are useful in nourishing the Hair follicles, improving hair growth and countering alopecia areata. Try any of the following methods.

1) Essential Oils help to reduce hair fall and stimulate the blood circulation to the scalp. This helps to regrow new hair.
Take Lavender essential Oil or Jojoba Essential Oil. Mix any Carrier Oil like Coconut Oil. Apply this Oil blend onto the scalp. Gently massage for 10 to 15 minutes. Repeat this twice daily.
Note : The quantity of oils depends upon the length of your hair.

2) Onion is one of the best remedy for Alopecia Areata. It is high in Sulfur which stimulates the hair follicles for new hair growth. Apply fresh Onion juice directly on the scalp. Gently massage for 8 to 10 minutes. Leave it for an hour. Wash off. Repeat this twice a day for a month to see visible results.

You may try Chili oil. You can make your own chili oil at home. Buy some fresh Red Pepper from the market. Take a pan and add some Olive oil to it. Turn on your stove and keep it on low heat. Add fresh chilies to the pan and let them cook for at least 1 hour on low heat. Wait until the chilies turn black. Take out chilies from the pan and store the oil in a bottle. Apply this oil for an hour and do some massage on the affected part. Do it on regular intervals. Like 3 to 4 times in a week. Use it for at least 2 months and see the results.
