Description

Tinea Capitis is a disease of the Scalp.
The fungal infection that causes ringworm on the scalp is Tinea Capitis. It is highly contagious and infectious disease. Fungi known as Dermatophyte are the main cause for the ringworm of the scalp. The fungi live on dead tissues of the outer layer of the Skin. It may be found in hair and fingernails too.

Herbal Treatment For Tinea Capitis 1

Mix some drops of Lemon Essential Oil with Olive Oil. Heat this Oil for few minutes and then apply it to your scalp. Leave it for 5 hours, rinse off your scalp with lukewarm water. Do this treatment once a week it will kill fungal infection from the scalp.

Hi Team,

I am 29, male ,
I am suffering fungal infection on head scalp , I have dandruff all over and it leads to hair thinning and hair loss.
It is clearly visible and all over.

Although I applied Lime juice earlier after shaving off my head, but still I have dandruff all over.

Can you please suggest me something in terms of capsule (or) Intake medicinal herb which remove it clean my scalp without much external applicaions of oils

Follow the regimen on regular basis. It may take some time to heal.
1. Take Coconut oil and apply on the affected areas. Leave it over night and next morning boil a handful Margosa ( Neem ) leaves and wash your head with that water. You may also apply lemon juice 2 to 3 times in a week. repeat the process at least for 2 to 3 months. Once your dandruff goes away, you may apply Castor oil also.
Also do some exercise and yoga.

I feel my scalp itching all the time i have noticed that few of my hair are also white
but itching make me frustrated whole scalp keep itching. I have dandruff too.

kindly tell me the resolution for this please

Don't worry. First of all we will take care your itching problem then, hair fall.
You please buy Coconut Virgin oil and Olive oil. Take 1 tablespoon of Coconut oil and 1 tablespoon of Olive oil. Apply on your scalp and do gentle massage in circular motion. Leave it whole night and take a shower next morning. Do it on regular basis like 3 to 4 times in a week. Continue the process for at least 2 months. It will take care of Itching problem as well as dandruff. Do one more thing. Boil a hand full Neem leaves ( Margosa Leaves ) in water for 10 min. Wash your hair with that water. Do it 2 times in a week. It will help to eradicate all infections from the scalp. Continue the process for 1 month. Write us back after 2 months.

have been suffering from tinea capitis for ten years now am 22years have been applying coconut oil it isnt responding it only stops itching when i apply coconut oil how can i do away with it its embarssing carrying the dry scaly patches on my head

I have been suffering with tinea capitis over 20 years. I have tried your remedies. I have some success with lemon grass to help it shed but it comes back. I took a powerful oral pill Lamisil for 12 weeks it helps it shed but did not get rid of it. My doctor does not want to prescribe it again as its hard on the liver. Has anyone had any success in treating it internally? If so please let me know regimen.
