The flowers are bell-shaped and pink or red in color. The berries are deep indigo in color.
Blueberry contains vitamins A, C, E, K ,B , fiber, folic acid, tannins, high levels of iron, manganese, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, calcium, copper. Blueberry has Resveratrol, flavonols, anthocyanins and phytochemicals.
Blueberry is helpful for preventing cancer. It reduces inflammation. Blueberry helps to strengthen the capillaries in the eyes and decreases eyestrain.
It reduces bad cholesterol and high blood pressure.
