Description
Typhus is a disease of the Whole Body.
The bacterial infection that causes Headache, Fever, Delirium and Skin Rash is called Typhus.
It is caused by Rickettsia Typhi or Rickettsia Prowazekii. It spreads through lice, mites and fleas which have themselves been infected by rats.
Types of Typhus
Endemic Typhus usually happens in an area with poor hygiene and cold climate. It spreads from lice, mites and fleas which are infected by Rats.
Murine Typhus is frequent in summers. It spreads through Cats and Rats. It rarely causes death.

If not treated properly, typhus may cause
Pneumonia
Impairment of Renal Functions
Damage to the Nervous System
