Description
Cachexia is a disease of the Whole Body.
The chronic illness that causes loss of body weight and Muscle Atrophy is Cachexia.
It is more common in patients with Cancer, AIDS, Kidney Problems or Liver Problems.
In diseased state, the body becomes weak and sheds off weight. The weight loss, even occurs when a person is taking adequate amount of calories. The loss of appetite and fatigue develops in the deceased person.
Cachexia is often seen in the last stage of Cancer. It is called Cancer Cachexia.
