Wolfram Syndrome is a disease of the Whole Body.
The genetic disorder that causes a number of other disorders such as Diabetes, Deafness, Blindness and Nerve degeneration is Wolfram Syndrome. It occurs due to gene mutation. This syndrome is carried from generation to generation.

Wolframin protein is present in all body parts. However, a mutation in the WFS1 gene leads to Wolfram Syndrome. The defect in this gene affects the functioning of the cells where Wolframin protein is used. It causes Diabetes, Blindness and Nerve degeneration.

If not treated properly, Wolfram Syndrome may cause
Psychiatric Problems
Death of normal cells
Hypogonadism ( Decrease in male sex hormone that is testosterone )
Diagnosis : The first two symptoms that appear are Diabetes and Optic Atropy.
Note: People with Wolfram Syndrome are recommended not to eat foods that even contain a less amount of copper.
