Ye, It is good to eat Turnip if you suffer from Goitre.
Turnip is rich in Iodine. And the one who is suffering from Goitre should take the foods rich in Iodine.

It might not be taken in the night.
The herb may cause acidity. You may have it as the salad in the afternoon.

I find NO recommendations for DOSAGE of Turnip powder extract on line. Looking for suggestions especially regarding the recent effect of turnip on colon cancer.
