Muscle Cramp is a disease of the Muscles.
The involuntary painful contraction of muscles that do not relax is Muscle Cramp.
It may happen unexpectedly and is an uncontrolled contraction of the muscles. It is extremely painful.
However, there is a situation where you can predict muscle cramps. Muscle cramps and soreness from too heavy and excessive physical activity for which your body is not tuned. Tired muscles release lactic acid. That makes blood acidic resulting in cramps. Baking soda is an antacid. It will counteract this increased acidity. Half a teaspoon in a glass of water is all that is needed.
It cures cramps in seconds.

Materia Medica for Muscle Cramps
Single Herb Add 3 cups Vinegar in a bucket of warm water. Take bath with it.
Use Lavender oil for massage on the affected areas.
Have a glass of milk before going to bed.
Prepare a cup of tea by adding two or three teaspoons of Chamomile flower. Add Sugar or Honey to taste.
Water ( Pani ) for Muscle Cramps
Massage with hot water.
Peru Balsam Essential Oil alleviates the pain and cures the muscular cramps.
Massage the affected part by putting 4 to 5 drops of Peru Balsam Essential Oil in one teaspoon of Mustard Oil. Use it lukewarm.
Helichrysum Essential Oil bears Analgesic effects. It eases the cramps and relaxes the muscles.
Add 15 to 20 drops of Helichrysum Essential Oil in a tub of lukewarm water. Have bath. If someone is suffering from sharp cramps, the person may massage directly with Helichrysum Essential Oil.
Note : If inflammation occurs with direct application, dilute it with Mustard Oil ( It is a good oil for muscles ).
Arnica contains Thymol. This nutrient helps to regulate the blood flow in the Muscles. Arnica stimulates the formation of White Blood Cells. It helps to disperse trapped fluid from the Muscle.
Add 1 tablespoon of dried Arnica Flower extract in 500 ml water. Soak a cotton cloth in it. Apply the cloth on the affected area. Leave it for 10 to 12 minutes. Repeat this 2 to 3 times a day to treat Muscle Cramps.
Basil ( Tulsi ) as Muscle Relaxant
Add 10 to 12 fresh Basil leaves in a cup of warm water. Boil it for 5 to 10 minutes. Strain well. Drink two times a day.
Or
Add a handful Basil Leaves in water. Soak a cloth in it. Dab the soaked cloth on the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes. Do this twice a day to relax the Muscles.
Arnica as Muscle Relaxant
Arnica is helpful in relaxing tight muscles and regulates the blood flow. It can be used for Pain in Neck, Legs, Head and Muscles. It relaxes the muscles and treat the Cramps.
Add a handful of dried Arnica leaves in 1 liter warm water. Soak a cotton cloth in it. Dab the cloth on the affected area. Repeat this 2 to 3 times a day to relax the Muscles.
Mix Mustard oil with Clove oil in a ratio of 1:1. Gently massage it on the painful joints. Repeat the process two times a day.
