The dosage depends on the degree of the severity of the disease and on the disease to be cured. In general, you may take upto 5- 20 gm of Chinese Knotweed in a day. The best herb for Liver is Milk Thistle. So, do not worry, you are not taking the herb in excess. You may take it for 15 days and then skip for a week. Then, again take for 15 days.

I am using a topical mixture that contains Chinese Knotweed to help with hair growth. I use it once daily on my scalp. I'm not sure of the amount of Chinese Knotweed in the mixture. The other ingredients are Ginseng, Grape seed oil and Ginger. I use about a tablespoon per day. Is this safe?
