Carrot ( Gaajar ) as Liver Tonic
Consuming 1 Cup Carrot juice daily helps in proper functioning of Liver.
Indian Gooseberry ( Amla ) for Liver Diseases
Consuming a cup of Indian Gooseberry juice helps Liver to work well. Drink it in the morning with an empty stomach.
Oregon Grape as a Liver Tonic
Put One tablespoon Oregon Grape root in One cup boiling water.
Steep for 5 minutes and filter.
Take One tablespoon 3-4 times a day.
Clerodendrum for Liver Disorders
Chew fresh leaves of Clerodendrum to cure Liver related diseases. It also helps to cure Diarrhea.
Operculina Turpethum for Liver Diseases
Prepare a root decoction of Operculina Turpethum. Drink 10 ml of it twice a day.
Plumbago Zeylanica as Liver Tonic
Crush the dried plant of Plumbago Zeylanica to make powder. Take 2 g of it with lukewarm water twice a day.
Pomegranate Rind as a Liver Tonic
Take dried peel of Pomegranate and grind it to make a fine powder. Add quarter teaspoon of this powder in a cup of lukewarm water. Have it once a day.
Artichoke as Liver Tonic
Collect some fresh Artichoke leaves. Extract the juice. Drink half cup once a day.
It removes toxins from Liver.
Artichoke for Liver Diseases
Make an infusion with leaves of Artichoke. Drink 5 ml of it twice a day.
Banana ( Kela ) for Liver Congestion
Crush roots of Banana ( Kela ) plant. Extract its juice. Take 1 tsp of it twice a day.
Carom ( Ajvain ) for Liver Diseases
Soak Carom seeds in Lime juice. Dry it under shade. Take half tsp with a pinch of salt in it with lukewarm water. Have it twice a day.
Butter Tree ( Mahua ) Bark for Liver Congestion
Add quarter tsp bark powder of Butter Tree ( Mahua ) in a cup of lukewarm water. Have it once a day.
Callicarpa Tomentosa for Liver Diseases
Add 1 g bark powder of Callicarpa Tomentosa in 20 ml boiled water. Drink it once a day.
Agave for Liver
Powder the dried leaves of Agave. Take quarter tsp twice a day with warm water.
Garlic ( Lehsun ) as Liver Tonic
Garlic reduces cholesterol levels and promote the functioning of the Liver. Consume 2 to 3 raw Garlic cloves daily at empty stomach. You can also include Garlic in your daily diet.
Grapefruit as Liver Tonic
Grapefruit contains vitamin C and antioxidants. It is also a natural Liver cleanser. Drink 1 full glass of Grapefruit juice. You can also add Grapefruit to your daily diet.
Beetroot ( Chakundar ) as Liver Tonic
Beetroots stimulate and improve overall Liver health and functioning. Prepare a Beetroot salad with 1 cup of chopped Beetroots, 2 tablespoons of Olive oil and 1/2 tablespoon of Lemon juice. Mix it well and eat once a day for two weeks.
Lemon as Liver Tonic
Lemon contains the natural antioxidant D-Limonene which helps to activate the enzymes in Liver that detoxifies the toxins. Mix 1 tablespoon of Lemon juice in 100 ml of water. Consume it once a day to keep your Liver healthy.
Green Tea as Liver Tonic
Daily consumption of Green tea flushes out the toxins and fat deposits present in Liver. Drink 3 cups of Green tea daily. You can add Honey to taste.
Note Avoid excessive Green Tea consumption.
Avocado as Liver Tonic
Avocado contains large amounts of Vitamins, Minerals, and antioxidants. It supports the overall health of the Liver. Eat 2 Avocados once a week for 1 month to cure Liver Damage.
Turmeric as Liver Tonic
Turmeric is an effective Liver cleansing food. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder in a glass of water and boil it. Add one pinch of Black Pepper in it to increase the bioavailability of Turmeric. Drink it twice daily for a 2 weeks.
Milk Thistle as Liver Tonic
Put 1 to 2 teaspoons of Milk Thistle seed powder in 100 ml of hot boiling water. Boil it for 10 minutes. Drink it lukewarm. It removes the toxin from the body.
