Antidote herbs are those herbs which are taken to counteract a particular poison. These herbs work against poison or toxins.
Effect of an Antidote on Body or Organ :
These herbs effect the Immune system and or Cell functioning.
How does an Antidote work :
These herbs stop the effect of toxin against which is taken. They achieve this either by blocking the receptors or by binding them with the toxins. Few herbs may enhance the Immune system. This may help the Body to fight against poison. It may reduce or stop the absorption of poison by the body.

Elephantopus Scaber for Snake Bite
Grind the roots of Elephantopus Scaber plant to make paste. Apply it over Snake Bite. This remedy is very effective.
Alstonia Venenata as Antivenin
Apply root extract of Alstonia Venenata on the bite.
Achyranthes Aspera as Antidote
Crush leaves of Achyranthes Aspera to make paste. Apply it on the toxic bites.
Tylophora Indica as Antidote
Apply the decoction prepared by leaves and roots of Tylophora Indica plant on the toxic bite. You may consume this decoction.
Kaempferia Rotunda as Antidote
Extract juice from rhizomes of Kaempferia Rotunda. Consume 5 ml of it once a day.
Indigo as Antidote
Grind whole plant of Indigo to make paste. Apply it over bitten areas.
OR : Drink 1 tsp leaf juice of Indigo daily. Have it twice a day.
Sodom as Antidote
Chew 4 leaves of Sodom once a day.
OR : Crush roots of Sodom and apply it over bitten area.
Aristolochia Indica as Antidote
Use leaf juice of Aristolochia Indica over toxic Bites. You may use it internally as well as externally.
Night Jasmine as Antidote
Rub the crushed leaves of Night Jasmine over bitten areas.
