Haemostatic herbs are those herbs which are used to stop bleeding. It is also spelt as Hemostatic. Injury can be either internal and external. They are also known as Antihemorrhagic. These herbs contract the damaged tissues to seal the ruptured blood vessels ( when used externally ).
