Sir, We use this seed for food purposes. It gives mass and weight to the body. It is also used after delivery treatments. I left my home place in 1960. Since then I was searching this seed. In our vernacular it is known as thettanparal. I noted this name after a long gap in the medicine manufactures by Santhigiri Ashram Trivandrum.
How we use this : We use to boil in the night time. In the morning we grind it. It is very very difficult to grind it in those times when no electrical or mechanical devices where available. We used to crush it on the grinding stone. It used to slip off or fly off like a bullet. Then we add a little rice and green grams with some gud. Sometimes we add coconut also. It is a wonderful preparation to be healthy. Some people prepare it night time and consume in the morning. In our home we used this regularly to have mass.I forgot the name of this item and when I read it in the site of Shanthigiri, I was really very glad.

Sir,
My brother's age is 23 and he has recently joined some gym but he does not use any supplement from the market to get proper protein and all that which is required for male which I don know exactly. He is also not tall. Sir I just want to know what he should take for the proper protein. His immune system is also very weak. Please Guide me about nirmali and flax seed for him...

Hi Heena, there is no need to consume extra protein for gym unless your brother is doing gym for 4 to 5 hours. Normal gyming requires proteins and carbohydrates. These two nutrients your body usually get from the food we consume.
Vegetables containing Carbohydrates: Sweet Potato, Taro, Carrots, Corn, Green Leafy Vegetables.
Vegetables containing Proteins: Peas, Spinach, Kale, Broccoli, Sprouts, Mushrooms, Brussel Sprouts. Apart from that egg whites is highly rich in proteins.
What to eat before work out:
Banana shake 1 glass.
Or
Small sweet potato with steamed or lightly salted broccoli in olive oil (1 cup)
Or
Oatmeal (1/2 cup) with berries (1 cup), sweetened with stevia or agave
For immunity: You can take one of the following herbs:
Echinacea
Ginseng
Garlic
Bell peppers
Do not eat anything 2 hours before the gym.
