Apply some Castor oil on the affected area. Heat with a hot water bag. Now massage with powdered Acacia Concinna for 15 Minutes. Wash the area with hot water and wipe it.

Acacia Concinna for Constipation

Discard the Acacia Concinna seeds after crushing the fruit. Soak it in 1 glass of water for One hour. Take the infusion.

Acacia Concinna ( Shikakai ) for Jaundice

Take out the Acacia Concinna seeds after crushing the fruit. Soak it in a glass of water for an hour. Take 1/4 glass infusion.

Acacia Concinna ( Shikakai ) for Dandruff

Acacia Concinna ( Shikakai ) is a boon for getting rid of Dandruff. Boil a handful of coarsely crushed Acacia Concinna ( Shikakai ) in a liter of water for 10 Minutes. Cool it and use the filtered decoction to wash hair. Do it daily for a week and then twice a week.
OR : Make a paste of powdered Acacia Concinna ( Shikakai ) by adding water in it. Apply it over scalp and hair. Leave it for an hour. Wash hair with normal water. It also cleanse your hair from roots to tips.

Acacia Concinna for Age Spots

Make a fine paste of Acacia Concinna fruit. Apply every day for 15 Minutes. Wash off with water.

Herbal Treatment For Constipation 1

Grind 3 leaf buds of Acacia Concinna with 1/4 tsp Tamarind paste, 2 tsp Mint leaves and 2 tsp of Coriander leaves. Add Asafoetida, Black Pepper and Salt to taste. Mix it in cooked Rice and eat.

Herbal Treatment For Constipation 2

Make a paste of 3 leaf buds of Acacia Concinna, 2 cloves of Garlic and some Salt. Take it with cooked Rice.

Make a paste of 3 leaf buds of Acacia Concinna, 2 cloves of Garlic and some Salt. Take it with cooked Rice.

Herbal Treatment For Dandruff 1

Grind 3 to 4 dried Fruits of Acacia Concinna ( Shikakai in India ) without seeds. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of Fenugreek ( Methi in India ) Seeds, 1 teaspoon of Wild Turmeric ( Aamhaldi in India ) root powder, 1 teaspoon of Indian Sarsaparilla ( Anantmool in India ) root powder and 1 teaspoon of Sandalwood powder. Mix well. Add water to form a thick paste. Massage the Scalp with Coconut oil first ( Naariyal Ka Tel in India ) then apply this paste. Leave it for half an hour. Wash off and Shampoo. Do this once a week.

Herbal Treatment For Head Lice 1

Grind 10 dried Fruits of Acacia Concinna after discarding the seeds, 1/2 cup each of Fenugreek Seeds, Wild Turmeric roots, Roots of Indian Sarsaparilla and Sandalwood chips.Massage the head with Coconut oil and apply this powder. Rinse off after 30 Minutes.

Herbal Treatment For Jaundice 1

Make a paste of 1 tsp tender Acacia Concinna leaves, 3 Peppercorns, 1 tsp Tamarind Pulp, 1/2 Red Chilli and some Salt to add taste. Eat it With cooked Rice.

Herbal Treatment For Stomach Ache 1

Boil 1 cup Acacia Tree bark in 1 litre water and sieve it. Add powdered Indian Pennywort in it. Also add the powder of 4 Black Peppercorns, 2 Cardamom, Cinnamon, 2 Cloves, 1/4 Nutmeg and 1/2 tablespoon Long Pepper. Mix it and leave it for a month before it is taken for medicinal use. Take One tablespoon twice a day.

Soak Indian Gooseberry, Soapnut seeds ( Ritha ) and pods of Acacia Concinna ( Shikakai ) in 3 cups of water for a night. Grind it. Use it as shampoo.

Take following herbs in mentioned quantity :
200 g Indian Gooseberry ( Amla )
200 g Acacia Concinna ( Shikakai )
20 g Bacopa Monnieri ( Brahmi )
1 g Asphaltum ( Shilajit )
40 g dried Pomegranate peel ( Anar ka chilka )
20 g Eclipta Alba ( Bhringraaj )

Soak them overnight in any Iron bowl. Grind to make paste. Apply it on your Hair and Scalp. Wash after 3 hours with lukewarm water. Do not use shampoo. You may use Shampoo next day.
