Scurvy is a disease of the Gums.
The swollen bleeding gums are caused by the deficiency of vitamin C. It may cause loss of teeth, Anemia and Gingivitis.

Single Herb
Lemon juice for Scurvy
Have a glass of lemon juice by adding one table spoon of Honey. Take once a day.
Take powder of Indian Gooseberry and Sugar in equal quantity. Have one tablespoon with milk thrice a day.
Boil few Barberry leaves in 1 cup of water. Drink this half cup decoction once a day.
Include Orange in your diet either in raw or juice form.
Make an infusion of Indian Sorrel ( Sarvajjaya ) leaves. Drink 30 ml once a day.
Sweet Lime ( Mousambi ) is rich in Vitamin C, so it gives relief in Scurvy.
Drink a glass of Sweet Lime ( Mousambi ) juice twice a day.
Extract juice from roots of Banana plant. Take 1 tsp of it with same quantity of Honey. Have it thrice a day.
Grind dried fruit of Carambola to make powder. Take quarter tsp with lukewarm water.
Drink 50 ml Citron fruit juice twice a day.
Crush seeds of Night Jasmine to make a powder. Add some water in it to make a paste. Apply it over infected Gums.
Cranberry is a rich source of Vitamin C. It combats the deficiency of Vitamin C in Scurvy.
Drink fresh juice of Cranberry daily.
Drumstick Leaves are atniinflammatory in nature. It contains a number of antioxidants. It is helpful in treating bacterial or fungal infections.
Fresh juice of Drumstick Leaves are helpful in treating Ear Infection, Eye Infection and Scurvy.
