Social Phobia is a disease of the Mind.
It is an abnormal fear of facing the crowd. A person is not able to perform a task in a crowded place. He is not able to communicate with strangers. He feels embarrassed and a feeling of being negatively judged arises. This leads to avoidance of the situation or place. It interrupts the daily tasks of the life.
Few people are shy by nature. It is normal if you feel nervous at your Wedding, during a presentation or at a place where you are the center of attraction. But if a person feels nervous while communicating with a stranger or at a crowded place, then call it Social Phobia. It is a mental disorder in which a person thinks that he is being judged by others. He is not able to perform a task or to communicate at social gatherings. It leads to Excessive Sweating and Anxiety.
