Zoophobia is a disease of the Mind.
An irrational fear of the animals is known as Zoophobia. Getting scared of a wild animal is normal. But if a person gets scared even by the sight of the animal and the animal is not in a position to harm him, is called Zoophobia. It may be a caused by a traumatic experience in the childhood.
Types of Zoophobia:
Acarophobia or Entomophobia : An intense fear from Insects.
Bovinophobia : An intense fear of Cattle
Agrizoophobia : An intense fear from wild animals.
Chiroptophobia : An intense fear of Bats.
Apiphobia : An intense fear of Bees.
Ailurophobia : An intense fear from Cats.
Cynophobia : An intense fear of Dogs.
Selachophobia : An intense fear of Sharks.
Ophidiophobia : An intense fear of Snakes.
Arachnophobia : An intense fear of Spiders and Scorpios.
Murophobia : An intense fear of Mouse.
Vermiphobia : An intense fear of Worms.
Mottephobia : An intense fear of Butterflies.
Ornithophobia : An intense fear of Birds.
Equinophobia : An intense fear of Horses.
Herpetophobia : An intense fear of Reptiles.
