The roots of Trianthema Portulacastrum ( Horse Purslane ) are Abortifacient in nature. It possesses Emmenagogue and Stomachic properties. It treats Amenorrhoea, Asthma and obstructions of the Liver. The roots treat Corneal itching, Eye Inflammation and Weak Eyesight.
Powdered form of root treats Venereal discharge. Its infusion is used for Constipation.
